The cottage
Room for 8 across three bedrooms, with a great room that opens two storeys high, a full kitchen and one and a half baths. Outside there is a cedar sauna, an outdoor shower, a fire pit and a front deck with a propane fire table.
The great room and loft
The main floor is one open living and dining space with tall front windows that pull in natural light. A floor-to-ceiling, three-sided fireplace anchors the room when the weather turns cool, and ductless heat pumps handle heating and air conditioning on both floors.
Above it all, a catwalk loft looks down over the main level.
The kitchen
Everything for cooking a full meal is here: a full-size fridge, an electric stove with a stainless oven, a dishwasher, a microwave, a kettle and a coffee maker with coffee supplied. Dishes, silverware, cookware, wine glasses and barbecue tools are all here, and there is a harvest table for eating together.
The bedrooms
The main floor has a queen bed in a hand-built wooden frame, across the hall from the full bath. Upstairs, one bedroom has two double beds and the other has two singles. Bed linens, extra pillows and blankets, hangers and closet space are provided.
The bathrooms
The full bath on the main floor has a tub and shower, a hex tile floor, a hair dryer, and Aveda shampoo and conditioner. A half bath sits upstairs between the two bedrooms, and the outdoor shower outside takes care of the sandy rinse-offs.
The sauna
A black and cedar sauna with a glass front went in on its own deck in late 2025, and guests who have stayed since bring it up often.
The outdoor shower, fire pit and deck
The outdoor shower is on the side of the cottage, handy after a day at the beach. The fire pit circle has Adirondack chairs and solar lights for the evening, and the front deck holds a covered propane fire table with red chairs round it, next to the barbecue.
